On the north bank of the River Dee, Elizabeth Duthie presented the 42-acre Duthie Park to the City of Aberdeen in 1880. It was opened by HRH Princess Beatrice on 27th September, 1883.

Top: ELIZABETH CROMBIE DUTHIE of Ruthrieston, d Aberdeen 30.3.1885 aged 67 yrs. Her best and most enduring memorial is the Park she gave to her fellow citizens.
Left: In memory of ALEXANDER DUTHIE of Ruthrieston, advocate, Aberdeen d 24.6.1877 aged 62 yrs. His father, ALEXANDER DUTHIE, merchant, Aberdeen d 8.3.1853 aged 76 yrs. His mother MARGARET DUTHIE d 5.6.1837 aged 60 yrs.
Right: Also in memory of the following children of the said Alexander Duthie and Margaret Duthie: WILLIAM DUTHIE, advocate, Aberdeen d 3.10.1858 aged 46 yrs; JANE POLLOCK DUTHIE d 20.11.1862 aged 49 yrs, MARGARET DAUNEY DUTHIE d 30.6.1861 aged 40 yrs.
